CBESO Leaders Participate in the Russian-Tanzanian Youth Forum

During the period under review, CBESO, in collaboration with the Office of the Dean of Students coordinated the participation of students in the Russian-Tanzanian Youth Forum. This event was held at the Russian Cultural Center in Dar es Salaam on 25th September 2023.

Distinguished guests and speakers, such as the Director of the Russian House in Dar es Salaam, Alexey Bondaruk, and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Tanzania, Andrey Avetisyan, graced the forum with their presence and delivered insightful addresses, enriching the discussions and fostering valuable international connections.

Participants hailed from diverse higher learning institutions in Dar es Salaam. CBESO was well-represented at this event, with a delegation consisting of 60 members from different academic levels.

The primary objective of the forum was to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on pressing issues affecting Africa and to explore potential solutions. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to vie for a chance to win a free trip to Russia, where they could participate in an upcoming youth summit scheduled for February 2024.
