FOSTERING GROWTH IN BUSINESS EDUCATION AND HORTICULTURE IN TANZANIA

Today, on February 7th, the Rector of the College of Business Education (CBE) Prof. Edda Lwoga convened a crucial meeting with the Executive Associate to the CEO of the Tanzania Horticultural Association (TAHA) Simon Mlay in Arusha City. The primary agenda of this significant encounter was to deliberate upon fostering a robust partnership between CBE and TAHA. Both entities aimed to collaborate extensively in areas such as continuing education and professional development, research endeavours, and consultancy services. This strategic alliance sought to harness the collective expertise and resources of both institutions to address pertinent challenges and opportunities within the realm of business education and the burgeoning horticultural industry in Tanzania.

During the meeting, both parties expressed enthusiasm and dedication towards leveraging their respective strengths to facilitate the growth and advancement of the business and horticultural sectors. The partnership envisioned by CBE and TAHA aspires to not only enhance academic and professional capabilities but also to contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Tanzania.
