Tender Document Preparation for Procurement of Non-Consultant Services

Course Description:
Demand for non-consultancy services in Tanzania Mainland, increases as far the pace for industrial innovations is concern. And the ones, who largely expect to deliver the same, are the local suppliers. With regard to service requirements, those suppliers are required to prove their ability and capacity to deliver services in terms of high quality, affordable cost and foremost timely completion. One of the areas, which are highly evaluated, is how tender document is being filled with important information by these contesting suppliers; with closer support from the respective procuring entities in term of correct preparation of tender documents. Thus this short course would add value to both participants in term of maximizing performances

Learning Outcomes:
Focusing on the tender movement areas of expertise, knowledge and process, the training is intended to help participants learn how to prepare comprehensive and customized tender documents in their daily working lives hence, providing them with practical solutions to improve individual and organizational performance.

At the end of the course, every participant will be able to prepare tender document in a professional manner. This will enable them to prepare a project plan and schedule; to enter and to structure project tasks and their duration; to optimize project resources and manage project costs; to check tasks interdependencies and constraints.

Procurement Officers, Tender Board Members, Suppliers (Entrepreneurs) and other interested stakeholders in the field of Public Procurement Management

Course Fees:
The course fee of TZS 350,000 (for Tanzanians) and equivalent of US$ 200.00 (for foreigners) covers costs of facilitation, training materials (stationery and other consumables), venue, light refreshments and lunch during session. Participants/clients are expected to meet their transport costs to and from the venue, accommodation, healthcare and other allowances if applicable for participants. History of CBE

The COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION (CBE) was established in 1965 by the Act of the Parliament. COLLEGE OF BUSINESS EDUCATION Act No. 31 of 1965. His Excellency, J.K. Nyerere, the first President of the United Republic of Tanzania officially opened the new College in January 1965. The College was officially named the “College of Business Education” (CBE). The said Act of Parliament gives the College its legal status as an autonomous institution with its Governing Body. The College shall be governed and administered in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
