TRAINING COURSE: PETROL STATION OPERATORS.
Background
It is undisputed fact that petrol station business contributes to the growing economy in one way another. Despite its contribution in the economy, still the people who are employed in and also the owners lack essential knowledge on the way the business should be done effectively.
To close the knowledge gap, the College of Business Education (CBE) through Legal and Industrial Metrology department intend to offer a comprehensive training pertain to petro station operation for anyone including petro station managers, attendants, supervisors etc.
Training objectives and contents
On completion of the training, participants are expected to;
i. Understand fuel pump working principle
ii. Understand overall metering and fuel storage system
iii. Properly serve customers with courtesy
iv. Acquire the knowledge pertain to shrinkages and losses and their prevention
v. Be aware of the ethics and legal issues applicable in petrol stations.
vi. Know personal hygiene, housekeeping and safety in petrol stations
Course fee
The course costs TZS 120,000 for non CBE students and TZS 70,000 for CBE students which covers the facilitation costs, stationary as well as light refreshments. Transportation costs to and from the training venue, accommodation, health care and the likes are expected to be covered by the participants.
