CBE & WMA APPRENTICESHIP CONTRACT SIGNING

Signing ceremony between the Weight and Measurement Agency (WMA) and CBE regarding apprenticeship training for CBE students was held yesterday 13th October, 2023 at CBE Dar es salaam Campus. Speaking during the event, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. Mussa Hassan Zungu congratulated the Leadership of CBE) and WMA for partnership they established. Mr. Zungu also advised CBE to continue promoting itself locally and overseas so that it can attract more students from foreign countries. 

On the other hand, CBE Rector, Prof. Edda T. Lwoga said that through apprenticeship program, the undergraduate students who are studying Metrology program for three years will spend one and half years at school and the remaining half at work.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WMA Ms. Stela Kahwa said that the Agency was eagerly waiting for the day of signing the agreement as it has high expectations of benefiting from the partnership by getting many expert in the field of Metrology. 

Metrology and Standardization Program is offered by the CBE only in East and Central Africa.
